SAIC Releases Global Cybersecurity Model

The Science Applications International Corporation and the Supply Chain Management Center at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business published the Building A Cyber Supply Chain Assurance Reference Model today.

The white paper approves President Barack Obama’s newfound emphasis on cybersecurity, and is the first to analyze how to secure end-to-end supply-chain encounters on the Internet.

SAIC White Paper: Cybersecurity Model Based on Global Supply Chain Management

SAIC released a white paper today that tackles cybersecurity, now a presidential imperative, by applying an  innovative model drawing on the best practices from end-to-end supply chain management.

The paper, written with the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, is the culmination of a six-year effort and found that digital supply chains are as fragmented as physical supply chains were 15 years ago.
