Intel Picks Up Telecom Firm Aepona to Expand Cloud Portfolio
Intel has acquired Ireland-based telecommunications firm Aepona for an undisclosed amount in a move aimed at expanding Intel’s future network and cloud services portfolio, the Irish Times reports. Cisco has completed its purchase of privately-held Cariden Technologies Inc. for approximately $141 million in cash and retention-based incentives, Cisco announced Monday.
